My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Captain Jack - Your New Best Friend!

Captain Jack is a stunning long-haired grey tabby with a heart of gold. This handsome boy may need some time to adjust to his new home, but once he feels safe and secure, he transforms into the sweetest, most loving companion. Jack is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will give him the space he needs to feel at ease. In return, he'll reward you with gentle affection, soft purrs, and plenty of cuddles. Jack does have a history of anxiety and takes daily anxiety medication, which helps him feel calm and safe!

Jack is ready to embark on his next adventure with a family who will provide him with the calm and loving environment he craves. He loves laying on his heating pad, rolling around in catnip, and is OBSESSED with any type of treat. If you're ready to welcome this sweet boy into your home, apply to adopt him today at www.tenthlifecats.org/adopt.

Captain Jack can't wait to find his forever home - will it be with you?

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.

To learn more about some of the cats we prioritize, visit our website, www.tenthlifecats.org. Thank you!
