Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I got Tongs as a kitten from the Newberg Animal Shelter. He is 4 years old, born in March or April of 2020.
He is a very loving, playful, and curious boy. He is an indoor cat but likes looking out the window and attempts to sneak outside.
He has been an only animal, but I think he would love to have some furry siblings. When he sees other animals outside, he gets excited.
With me, he is very outgoing, but when strangers come over, he hides.
He play bites my fingers, but it is him just being playful or loving.
He had a medical emergency this year. His urinary tract was blocked and the vet had to unblock it. Because of this he was diagnosed with FLUTD(Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) and requires a special diet for the rest of his life to prevent this type of blockage from happening again, as it can be deadly. Please be aware this diet is spendy($110-$200 a month). Since the operation and new diet, he is back to normal.
I love him dearly, but can't afford to support him anymore.
