Are you looking for a sweet cuddle bug to call your own? Meet Scrappy Doo! This handsome boy is ready for adoption and can`t wait to find a family to call his own. He loves to snuggle up close to everyone he meets and will even roll over for some much needed belly rubs. Scrappy Doo would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for another addition to their home.
~ Scrappy Doo is looking for an active home that will be able to take him on lots of adventures ~ Scrappy Doo is looking for a single person, couple or family with older children to call his own ~ He would do best in a house type home rather than an apartment as he can be vocal ~ While in our care Scrappy Doo has shown signs of having possible separation anxiety ~ He will need to be signed up for training prior to going into his fur-ever home to ensure he becomes the best version of himself
Explanation of Behaviours: - Scrappy Doo can become excitable resulting in him lacking some manners by jumping up on people. - An active dog that will need plenty of exercise, training, stimulation and enrichment daily to set him up for success. - Scrappy Doo’s new family should be prepared to possibly deal with separation anxiety. - He is vocal, especially when seeking attention or interactions from people.
This dog would benefit from: - An active home - A home of all adults or including older children - Plenty of training and socializing - Plenty of time and attention - No apartments - vocal
Training needs/behaviours that need to be worked with for this dog: - Basic training - Basic manners (jumping up) - Socializing - Separation Anxiety

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
