Meet Burbank, our 10-month-old, 18-pound Pomeranian mix with a heart as fluffy as his fur! This little guy came to us a bit of a mess—he was tangled up in mats and burrs, but with some TLC, he’s now looking and feeling fabulous. Burbank is a real sweetheart who loves his outdoor time to explore and play, making every moment an adventure! He’s easygoing around other dogs and is comfortable in his crate. With his big personality and gentle nature, Burbank is ready to find a home where he can keep blossoming. Could you be his happily-ever-after? ??

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
