Hello, I`m Zeek! I`m a young cat with a heart full of love. I`ve spent my days here making friends with everyone who walks by. I have a knack for making people smile. You see, I`m a sweet, friendly feline who adores being around people. I love a good chin scratch, and I`m always up for a playful game. I`m quite the conversationalist too, with a purr that`s soothing to hear. But what I`d love more than anything is a home where I can share all this love. More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
