Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Likes: Playing and running around, being around people, being pet and fed, looking out the window
Dislikes: When our dog chases her but she quickly sorts him out and they become friends again.
What would be the ideal home? Our house is loud with kids coming and going and a dog and Guinea pig. Lucky is curious, outgoing and engages with people who are young and old. She would fit in anywhere.
Good with other cats? Unknown but I think she would be ok.
Good with dogs? Yes. She is curious and tries to play with our dog. Our dog is a herding breed and a little too interested in Lucky. She swats him gently with her paw to correct it and if she needs to, and will swat with more intention if the dog doesn’t stop. She is becoming dog savvy and can protect herself but wants to be friends.
Good with children? Yes. She likes to be held. Likes to sleep with people. She will sometimes gently use her claws to get away but hasn’t scratched anyone yet.
Personality: Friendly and social
How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 2-4 weeks
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Lucky wins the hearts of everyone who meets her. She a beautiful kitty with bright green eyes and pure black fur. She’s on the smaller side. She’s friendly, outgoing and curious about everything and everyone. She loves to purr and play. She has a very quiet meow when you feed her. Lucky is the perfect little kitty with a few things she still needs to learn. Lucky’s very agile and has been jumping up into counters and tables. Sometimes she tries to eat the house plants or scratch things. We’re working with her in these things and occur infrequently. We’re encouraging her to use the scratching pad instead. Lucky had a pretty persistent stuffy nose that causes her to sneeze sometimes. It doesn’t seem to slow her down. Whoever adopts Lucky with truly be lucky.
Medical: Chronic URI - will always be congested/sneezing. Will need medication when she has flare ups.
