My name is Pixie!

Animal Profile: Daphne, Evie and Pixie were surrendered in San Bernardino when their owner was cited for having too many dogs. They are 1-year-old, 35-40 lb poodle mixes that are friendly with people and other dogs. With those sweet eyes and scruffy faces, we know they’ll get scooped up fast in the PNW!

Foster Update: It took a few days, but Pixie is coming out of her shell. She loves running and playing with the resident dogs in her foster home and would prefer to join a family with at least one other dog. She is a little shy when first meeting new people, but she does warm up and show her playful side. Pixie does not travel well in the car yet, but her foster mom is dedicated to working on her fearfulness. As a poodle mix, Pixie is going to need regular grooming to prevent matting, so that should be taken into consideration prior to adoption.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 11/03. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
