My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Possum is a sweet snuggly girl who wants to be in your lap or next to you as much as possible. With Possum it’s always love at first sight! Her tiny body holds a lot of energy so get ready to play! She has great litterbox manners and loves her scratching post almost as much as she’ll love you. She would do best with someone who wants her in their bed at night and is home enough to give her cuddles and attention. A great work from home companion! She can be very active and entertain herself with toys but will settle down and sleep next to you if you’re on the couch or bed. She is good with other cats but dogs are an unknown. She's so gentle and friendly, we think she'd do great with kids.

Possum Redfield is 3-4 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She is affectionate, athletic, brave, cuddly, curious, friendly, and playful!

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
