My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marwa, the ultimate snuggle buddy! This friendly kitten loves seeking out her favorite humans for some quality cuddle time. If you're relaxing on the couch, don't be surprised when Marwa hops up to join you for a cozy snuggle session.

Marwa is also a shoulder cat extraordinaire! She loves hitching a ride on your shoulder, happily taking in the view as you carry her around. It's one of her favorite ways to stay close and explore her surroundings.

This smart cookie is a quick learner with a knack for problem-solving. Wave a wand toy at the top of a cat tree, and Marwa will be the first to figure out the fastest route up. Her curious nature means she's always investigating something new, making every day an adventure with her around.

If you're looking for a clever, affectionate kitten who loves to snuggle and explore, Marwa is ready to be your new best friend!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
