Woodstock entered Riverside Shelter as a stray, and when he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on November 12th to become a Frosted Face. He is about 8 years old, weighs 41 lbs., and is very sweet. Woodstock passed his cat test, and he gets along well with other dogs in our play yard.
Woodstock went on a Frosted Fling that was extended from two weeks to a month. He earned a rave review from his Fling Mom:
"Woodstock is such a good boy and is probably the easiest foster I’ve had, given that he is so chill, doesn't have accidents, no leash pulling, minimal barking, he’s just a mellow guy!
Woodstock loves people. All he wants is to be petted and cuddled. I was told that it looks like he had a hard life before, and now he has discovered the joy of human affection and he is all about it!
Woodstock went to a couple of dog festivals and was around big crowds of people and lots of dogs. He did amazingly well and loved the attention. He even took treats around other dogs with no reaction. I also took him to a bar, a coffee shop, and a restaurant. He did great everywhere!
Woodstock loves to go hiking! We've gone as far as two miles or so, and he definitely could go further. We hiked with a couple of my friend's dogs, and he got along great with them. He is so easy on leash and listened so well.
Woodstock knows sit. He’s learning stay and come here. He will usually come when called. He will sit up if you hold up his front paws and pet his belly.
Woodstock is very loyal and really aims to please once he trusts you. He sometimes leans in to people for pets even when he first meets them. He really is the sweetest boy!"
Woodstock is back on-site and ready for his forever home!
Stop by to meet this wonderful boy between 10 AM and 3 PM any day of the week!
