My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Autumn. My days are filled with exploration and learning. Each corner of my world is a mystery waiting to be solved. I'm a whiz at puzzles, especially ones involving string or crinkly paper. My curiosity knows no bounds, but I always make time for a good cuddle. I'm a sweetheart, you see. I love to purr and nuzzle against a friendly hand. I'm young, but I've got a lot of love to give. If you're looking for a feline friend who's smart, sweet, and endlessly curious, then I'm the cat for you. Why should you adopt me? Because life is full of mysteries, and I'd love to solve them with you.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
