This friendly gentleman is FIV+ (feline immunodeficiency virus), but don’t let that worry you. FIV is an easily managed immunodeficiency that doesn’t stop Nemo from living a happy, healthy life. As long as he gets the same routine veterinary care every cat deserves and prompt attention for any illness, Nemo will be just fine. He can even live safely with other cats who are friendly and don’t engage in rough play.
