My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's me, Freya - the 3-year-old Rottweiler mix with the sweetest smile and the perfect weight (50.2 lb, if you're wondering - I've been working on my "glow-up"). When I first arrived, I was a bit on the skinny side, but now? I'm lookin' fabulous and feeling fine!
I'm a total sweetheart! If you're looking for a furry friend who can snuggle, play, and charm the socks off you, I'm your girl!
Oh, and my adoption fee? It's just $110 (a bargain for all this personality, don't you think?), and it covers: spay, vaccines (yes, even the fancy rabies one), a vet check up, deworming, and all the love I've got to give! So, what are you waiting for? Swipe right on Freya, and let's start our adventure together! If you're interested in meeting me please call the shelter to schedule an appointment 256-362-5856

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
