Spaghetti (1.5yr) is an awesome cat! He is very playful and loves to chase and pounce. I adopted him the day he turned 8 weeks old. At the time, I had a very busy house with lots of activity. The environment was perfect for him. Recently our situation changed, and now it’s just me and Spaghetti. Unfortunately, Spaghetti is not adjusting well. Although he gets attention every day, it’s no comparison to what he had, so he has taken to random surprise attacks (pounce, scratch and bite quickly, and run away) that are drawing blood. I have taken him to the Vet and discussed the situation with her. She feels like this is normal kitty behavior and he needs more interaction. I’m not in a position to give more interaction. I love this cat with all of my heart! I can see how lonely he is, and It breaks my heart. He needs to be in an active house, preferably one that has other pets he can play with as well. He is healthy, well loved, completely up-to-date on his shots, and neutered.
