Meet Ally!
This lovely little chihuahua is around 8 years old and about 15 lbs. She was surrendered by her owner who could no longer care for her. Ally is doing great in her foster home.
From her foster family:
Ms. Ally is a very easy girl overall, she just requires some love & attention.
Ally is a typical chihuahua. She’s very sweet, loves her people, loves head scratches, and loves to cuddle & be held. She’s around 15lbs.
She will be timid at first but once she comes out of her shell she is curious, playful and just wants to hang with her people. She loves naps, walks, fetch with her toys, and will dance on her hind legs for treats.
Ally is house trained and can be left alone, but would be best in a household where someone works from home (the reason her previous owner surrendered her is because she had to work long days and wasn’t able to give Ally the attention she deserves).
She needs a little bit of improvement with commands like sit & stay, but is very treat motivated and has made good progress in the short time she’s been with us.
Sometimes Ally will bark at other dogs on walks and when meeting new people, but overall she’s a quiet girl.
She would do well alone or with another dog around her size. We did a slow introduction with our other chihuahua and they have been great together. Probably no small kids.
If you’re looking for a dog that is pretty low maintenance and will be your best buddy, sweet Ms. Ally is the one for you.
Ally is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
