My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for a best friend for life, look no further, INDIE is your girl! INDIE wants to be where her people are, whether it is snoozing on the couch, chilling out while her humans work or going for a walk (her foster mom thinks she would love to be a hiking/running buddy). When possible, INDIE also loves to run and play with her canine friends too! She absolutely craves human affection and is a sucker for belly rubs. She won't let you forget either: she will find you, lay down and roll over on her back and wait patiently.

INDIE is doggy door trained, potty trained and is working hard on her crate training. She is very shy at first meet, but quickly warms up. INDIE really just wants her own family that'll give her endless love and treats.

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
