Meet Smokey
Smoky is a male four-year-old gray and white cat that is friendly and a funny character
Smoky was originally adopted a couple of years ago and we were contacted by his owner to rehome him . Smokey’s owner said that her new boyfriend is allergic to him and that Smokey is home alone a lot and is a cat that craves attention and she just can’t give it to him right now
Since smoky does not get a lot of attention & is not allowed to sleep in the owner’s bed or bedroom ( he cries to get in the bedroom) he acts out sometimes and is on edge
He seems to not like men
As he lives in a house with women and when men come in he gets anxious & afraid
Smoky is affectionate and will greet you by rolling over for pets
He enjoys being brushed with his favorite glove brush and once he’s had enough he’ll let you know by walking away
Smoky loves to be picked up and hugged and is the type of cat that will follow you around the house because he just wants to be with you
Smoky is playful and active
We would like to see Smoky have a new start in a home where he is understood , somewhere where he can be himself & not get scolded for acting out for attention Somewhere he could get all of the attention that he wants
We think once he gets attention & in a more suited environment he will thrive
Smoky has never lived with another cat so we are unsure of how he would be . Maybe he needs a playmate.

Smoky is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchip, neutered, FIV/FELV negative
