Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chavo, a handsome purebred Rottweiler who is looking for a new home. He came from a private breeder in NY and is up to date on all his shots. Chavo is about 4 1/2 years old and weighs in at a whopping 98 pounds.

Chavo is house, leash, and crate trained. He’s a friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats are an unknown, although he can be protective of his water bowl and his balls. He has lived with other dogs. We socialized him at a very young age and took him to plenty of dog parks.

Chavo has lived with a child but owners would suggest older kids are a better fit as Chavo doesn't always realize how big he is. He is a friendly and playful boy, smart, and eager to please. He loves toys but can be protective them. He has been known to howl when he is left alone in his crate too long so apartment living may not be the best fit for him.

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
