My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Now would you take a look at this sweet pea? This big, beautiful boy is name Devlin. He came to the shelter on 11/5 because he became lost on a grand adventure. He is a sweet boy that needs his life turned around very soon. He is a young pup that will grow up a big boy so growing up in a loud, overcrowded shelter is not ideal for him to start out in life. All pups are also a lot of work so PLEASE make sure you have the time, home, and commitment to this awesome young man so he does not end up in the shelter ever again. He is very intelligent as he knows to basic commands such as sitting when asked and he may know more. But YOU AS A PET PARENT HAS TO TAKE THE TIME TO TEACH HIM!! He would be a wonderful student if you would take the time and effort to teach him everything he doesn't know already. He is good on a leash and good in his run. He just needs people who love him no matter where he came from, that will give him the patience, love, respect and understanding that he deserves. This may have been the only home he has ever known. He would like to have that second chance to have a family once again and not stay in a shelter for too long. Can you help him find his way to his forever home? He would like that so much. Nice bed, lots of toys to play with, good meals and lots of love and attention from you. If you can help him make his dream come true, then he is your guy!

Devlin is current on vaccines, will be neutered and micro chipped upon his adoption. He is in Run 18 and his ID is 6008. Devlin is only a year old and weighs a mere 70lbs. He is still a baby and he really doesn't deserve to start out in life in a loud, overcrowded shelter. Please give this sweet boy a solid chance. He needs you now more than ever.

Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER.
