My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little garden flower is Hibiscus! Besides being stunningly beautiful, Hibiscus is curious and playful. She watches what her sister, Aster, gets up to and either is four-paws into the action, or hangs back and decides to settle for a nap. She loves people and can be handled, kissed, and cuddled. She snuggles up to sleep on your belly, legs, or back and purrs like a race car. Hibiscus is best friends with her sister Aster, and you can find them grooming and loving on each other, or wrestling like champs! Hibiscus loves all toys, especially hunting pipe cleaner coils, and perching high up on the cat tree. She is a great little eater, and eats her wet and dry kitten food without much of a fuss. If you are ready to watch her bloom, meet Hibiscus today! Hibiscus is bonded to her sister Aster and they must be adopted together. They are good with other cats and kids.

Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
