Buddy is the sweetest boy, and he's pretty handsome too! He loves pup cups, and does pretty well on a leash. With the weather getting cooler, we are going to start walking him again at the park. He gets along great with all dogs he has met! He does really well going inside as well, and loves to lay on the rug and play with his toys. He retrieves them all from his toy box, but he hasn't learned how to put them back!
We started him out with crate training and bringing him in at night, and he did really well but he actually prefers to be outside when the weather is nice instead of cooped up. But he will still go in the crate if he needs to be inside for some reason.
He's been to the groomer three times now, and she said he’s doing really well. He tried to jump out of the tub the very first time but now he loves going!
Buddy showed up at a kind woman's house in Jacksonville about 1 1/2 years ago. She took in a mom and 8 puppies at the same time and has several of her own. So her mom has been fostering Buddy, fell in love with him but she's in her 80's, is a fall risk and can't care for him like he needs.
He will do best with an active family, a fenced yard and a playmate or two.
