My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tina is an adorable 8-month-old female Retriever mix, with a delightful combination of Labrador and Pyrenees traits. Despite her young age, she's already a big, strong girl, though she still carries the playful energy and curiosity of a puppy. Tina is always up for an adventure. Tina is also very affectionate and loves to cuddle, often curling up next to you for attention or offering gentle licks to show her love. This sweet girl awaits her forever home!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
