My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Apple !!
This little cutie is looking for a great new home. She is fun and sweet.
Apple is an almost 1 year old female. She is a Boston Terrier mix. She currently weights 19 pounds and is full grown.
She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative.
We aren’t sure the cause of it but Apple has a head tilting abnormality. Our vet isn’t sure exactly why but it could be a neuro issue. She can hold her head straight but more often than not she tilts it to the side. It causes her no issues and she behaves completely normally aside from tilting the head. We wish we had more answers but we don’t. She’s been happy and healthy since arriving, she’s just a little special. We are currently trying a antibiotics and steriods to see if they may help.
Apple is a great little dog. She is fun, playful and feisty but does not have an overwhelming energy level. She likes a lot of lap and couch cuddles. She will run and play with the other dogs and then be ready for a nap or to lounge around and chew on a bone.
She has been very easy to have in the home so far. She is crate trained and will sleep in her kennel all night but she prefers to sleep in bed with you. She has not had any problems staying home during a normal work day. She is good with leash training and also does really well on car rides. She is mostly potty trained. She does not alert you when she needs to go out so it takes a bit to figure out her routine in new places.
Apple has done great with dogs of all sizes. She loves to run and play with them. She can be a little feisty with ones that get in her face. She has no problem telling another dog when she is done playing or needs some space. She has not been aggressive she just sets clear boundaries with other dogs. We have not had her around cats so we are unsure how she would do.
She is not fostered with kids but we think she would do well with respectful children that do not treat her like a toy.
She has had no trouble sharing food, treats or toys with humans. She does not do well sharing her food with other dogs. She should be fed in her crate or a separate room if you have other pets.
Her foster says she is an easy, cuddly, fun little girl to have around the house.
If you are looking for a sweet, fun, smaller dog that is almost fully trained already then this little lady may be the one for you!
