My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow there! My name is Glynde. I am a domestic shorthaired, black and white female kitten. I lived in a barn until I came to the rescue recently. I am still getting used to being inside. I like to chase the ball toys and chase feathers on wand toys. I am nervous, but I will warm up to you, you just have to be patient. I don't like to be held, but I love getting pets and scratches and treats. I am ok with older children and adults. I have not been around young kids. I am great with other cats. Dogs are still a little scary. I am up to date on my vaccinations, tested negative for FELV. I have had my vet exam, been dewormed, microchipped and fixed. Please note: kittens may NOT be adopted as a Barn Cat nor be outdoors unsupervised as they are too young to know how to protect themselves.

We try to answer all calls and emails within 24 hours, but we are not paid staff and still have to work elsewhere to keep our operations going. If we are not able to answer you within 24 hours, please try again or better yet, send an email! We will try to make it up to you!

Go meet their pets

You may see our wonderful kitties at our sanctuary on Saturdays from 12-4, except holidays. Some cats and all kittens will be in foster care, so please fill out an application for a home visit.
