My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Social Butterfly! She's a loving, energetic, silly young dog who likes greeting every dog we pass. At the dog park, she will gladly go up and say hi to everyone. She's treat/food motivated and will melt into you for body scratches. She would do well with an adopter who is near a park/large outdoor space.

Personality & Characteristics: Energetic, fun, likes to play
My foster dog is good with meeting other dogs and she seems intrigued by children when we walk past them on the street. I'm not sure how she is with cats.
My foster dog is: Crate trained, she poops outside, but still uses a pee pad to pee. She's easy to train, so once she understands that she should go outside to pee, she'll have it!
3 Keywords for your pup: loving, silly, playful
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 6
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet pup
Walking Manners: She tugs quite strongly, but we're working on it. The city is also very new and exciting to her.
Appetite: Great appetite.
Favorite Things: Her rubber chew toy, TREATS, side scratches, and belly rubs.
Commands/Tricks: She understands "sit" and we're working on "calm" when she gets very excited at the park.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
