My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Put Short Bio here: Heart Healer is as her name suggests- this girl will warm your heart. She's been through a lot and as a result will take a minute to trust, but she could not be more gentle and sweet. She ADORES other dogs and loves to run around and play with them at the park. She loves chewing on bones and her toys and naps like an absolute champ. She loves her bed, sleeps through the night, and is overall very low maintenance. Heart Healer is a sweet sweet dog who deserves the happiest life with her forever family!
Personality & Characteristics: shy & sweet
My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats) loves other dogs, gentle with all people, likely very gentle with kids
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) Crate trained and house trained

Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 2
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: quiet
Walking Manners: great on a leash! sticks to the left
Appetite: loves her food and loves treats and peanut butter
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above) She is quite nervous around new people but you would never know shes a nervous pup when you see her outside or with other dogs at the dog park!
Favorite Things: Playing with other dogs, peanut butter, benebones

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
