Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
My name is Roxy and I was adopted at 1.5 years old in 2016. My family decided to move to Arizona and only take there 2 other dogs and horses with them. They returned me to rescue because they “didn’t want to put me down” my rescue says I have a lot of life left. I’m house broken love beds and walks. I get little burst of energy but mainly am a pretty calm girl. I didn’t get alone with the dominant aggressive female cattle dog in my previous home but I got along with the male dogs. I just need a home for the last year (s) of my life are you it!?

Once you think you’ve found a match please contact us via email and we will forward you an adoption application. A SCBR representative will contact you within 48 hours (often sooner) to discuss your application and to arrange a meet & greet with your possible future dog. If you find more than one dog that fits your criteria, you do not need to fill out multiple applications, simply enter all the dogs that you are interested in on one application. Before taking your new furry friend home, we must conduct a home inspection to ensure a safe environment for your new pet. Inspections are conducted by one of our volunteers who live in many neighborhoods of Los Angeles and San Bernardino and will ensure a swift adoption process. Once your home inspection is complete and approved, you may sign on the dotted line and bring your new dog home! Providing a donation is the final step in the adoption process. The adoption/donation fee varies. We operate solely on individual donations. We receive no government funding or corporate sponsorship. The amount we suggest does not even begin to cover the cost of rescuing and placing one animal. If you can donate more we would be most grateful, as it may help save one more adorable face at the shelter that we would have had to otherwise leave behind. Feel empowered by your donation, because we cannot continue our work without your help.
