My story

Meet Sasha, a spirited, long-haired dilute tortie with a truly unique look. She came to us shy and unsure, and she’s still working on trusting humans, but we believe there’s a big-hearted adopter out there who can help her blossom. Sasha is missing one of her ears, but that only makes her more endearing.

Sasha was found living outside, all alone, with no family. She is still learning to be a carefree kitty and thinks that she needs to hiss to protect herself. But once you scoop her up, she melts in your arms and purrs away. She loves chin scratches too! She acts tough on the outside, but underneath, she has a soft, gentle side just waiting to be nurtured.

Sasha currently lives with other cats and enjoys their company, so she’d love a friendly feline companion to help guide her and show her the ropes. Her favorite activities include playing with a wand toy and using her scratching post. With a buddy by her side, Sasha will feel more confident and learn that humans can be kind and loving, too. She would thrive with a calm, patient person who understands the beauty of watching a timid cat come out of her shell.

Sign Adoption Contract

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
