Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Acini entered Orange County Animal Care as a stray with a matted, dirty coat. When she wasn't claimed, the shelter reached out with a rescue request, and we scooped her up on November 12th to become a Frosted Face. Acini is about 10 years old, weighs 8 lbs., and is as sweet as she is cute.
Just a day after she arrived at FFF, Acini was chosen for a two-week Frosted Fling, and that has turned into a Foster home. Acini had surgery at the beginning of December to remove mammary masses and also was spayed. We are so grateful for the extra love and care she is receiving in the comforts of her foster home.
Here is the most recent update from Acini's foster mom:
Acini is a tiny wonder girl who deserves the world. Despite her small size, she has lots of energy, and people often mistake her for a puppy. She is always friendly towards new people and happily accepts pets from them.
Acini loves to chow down at mealtime and gets the zoomies after she eats. But what is really entertaining is her bedtime routine! She loves to wrestle with her blanket, drag it all over, and then finally stops to go to her bed to settle into her cozy spot.
When Acini walks around the house, she occasionally bumps into things close to her. I made a gated off a special area for her where she can roam free, and it's big enough for her to run around and explore without bumping into stuff that might hurt her. I place Acini in this when I'm busy around the house and can't keep a close eye on her.
Acini is laid-back walker who will stroll near other dogs without issue. She is also fine riding in a stroller when I take her places. She is a good sidekick!
Acini is a total sweetheart."
Acini is thriving in her foster home but is still on the lookout for a forever home. Might it be with you?
