My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Selene and Celeste are practically twins--their foster mom has to see them together to tell them apart! Another easy way to tell them apart is that Selene likes to wait for her sister to take the lead. She is very curious about the world around her, but lets Celeste investigate before she will follow.

They both tend to hiss when they're startled, but it's more of an exclamation than a warning. As if to say "Whoa! I wasn't expecting that!--but they're more and more comfortable with their indoor life every day.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
