Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our little ray of sunshine, Raya, is ready for her adoptable debut! We aren’t exactly sure what type of poodle mix she is, but we are sure of how great she is.
This girl is a sweet girl, who is neither clingy or standoffish. She wants and gives just the right amount of love. But, make sure not to forget her scheduled belly rubs and cuddles before bedtime. Those are a must.
Raya is a bit of a bougie girl and doesn’t like just any old treats. No, this girl holds out for the good stuff. Bacon? Great. But, steak? Yes please! Raya is setting herself up to find a family with a spoiled dog budget in place.
Now for the logistics that everyone wants to know:
Crate trained? Yes
Housebroken? Yes
Leash trained? Yes, but can be wary of strangers on walks
Good with cats? Unknown
Good with kids? Unknown, so to error on the side of caution, let’s say no little kids for Raya
Prompts she knows? Sit, stay, leave it, spin, let’s go
Good with dogs? Yes
Raya currently lives with two adults, and another dog in her foster home. Although her and the other dog aren’t besties, they are happy to coexist and share their space with each other peacefully. Maybe her forever home will have another dog she can find a deeper bond with.
The adoption fee for Raya is $400. This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.
Wish Upon a Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based animal rescue. If you would like to meet Raya please complete our adoption questionnaire at www.wishuponarescue.org/adopt. We will review your responses and be in contact to schedule a meet and greet at a time and place convenient for your family and our team members.
