My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Timmy, the ultimate energetic and affectionate buddy! He is a 2 year old, 26 pound, Terrier mix. This young, spirited guy loves to run, play, and would thrive in an active home that enjoys a good mix of playtime and relaxation. Timmy already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more tricks, especially with treats or toys as rewards. He has a special fondness bones, toys, and cuddling on the couch—he’s just as happy playing with his people as he is lounging around with them.

Timmy’s got some impressive “boop” skills, as he loves to jump up for gentle nose touches or kisses. Because of his enthusiasm, a home with older kids might be best, or at least one that can embrace his fun-loving leaps. Though he hasn’t interacted with other dogs at the shelter yet, he’s reportedly good with them, making him a great potential match for homes with other pets. While a fenced yard isn’t required, it could be a big plus for helping him get all that happy energy out!

If you’re looking for a sweet, lively companion who’s up for both adventures and cuddles, Timmy is ready to bring joy and a little extra bounce to your life!

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
