Once upon a time, we rescued a sweet little Maine Coon mix kitten named Captain Picard (now known as Pico), and after finding his perfect home, we thought his story had the happiest ending. But sometimes, life has unexpected twists. When Pico's beloved mom fell ill, she made the difficult decision to surrender him and his two kitty siblings to us. We are always committed to our cats, so it was an honor to welcome them back and help her in a tough time.

Now, 7 years old, Pico is looking for a second chance at a forever home. This gentle giant may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, his heart is as big as his paws. HeÂ’s the kind of cat who will sit quietly by your side, purring contentedly as you read or watch TV. His calm demeanor and sweet nature make him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys the peaceful moments of life.

We begin with an application process and interview. We discuss the adoption process, FLUFF policies, and adoption fees. We are a foster based rescue in the Middle Tennessee area. We will then happily arrange meetings with our adoptable animals for any approved adopters.

We are a foster based rescue in the Middle Tennessee area. Our kittens (all of our animals) are in loving foster homes where they receive all the care and attention they need to become wonderful pets. We will happily arrange meetings with our adoptable animals for any approved adopters.

As an animal rescue organization, we strive to feed the hungry, care for the suffering, provide shelter for the homeless, help those who can't help themselves, and educate those around us to do the same.

F.L.U.F.F. is a foster-based animal rescue organization located in Nashville, TN, and surrounding areas. We primarily rescue orphaned kittens that are too young and need too much care to be in shelters or on the streets. Our adoptable animals typically come from local shelters and other organizations that need our assistance. We do also help cats, puppies, dogs, rabbits, chinchillas, etc when we can. Our philosophy is if we can help we will.
