My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I first met Hazel in Virginia when she was just a little 6-week-old bundle of joy and I couldn’t help but leave with her. Since then, we’ve shared many adventures as she’s lived with me in three states.

Hazel is now 8 years old and has been my loyal, loving companion throughout her life.

I’m hoping to find a caring, active person or family who can give Hazel the same love and attention she’s always known. Hazel truly thrives with someone who enjoys spending time outdoors, going on walks, and being her buddy for playtime and snuggles. She needs a home with an owner or family who will treasure her for the amazing dog she is and make her an active part of their life.

Hazel is incredibly loving, energetic, and playful. She’s affectionate, loyal, and has a silly side that brings a smile to everyone who knows her. Hazel is also friendly with people and other dogs, though she adores people most. Her big heart and joyful spirit make her a truly special companion.
