My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snack Pack, a gentle soul with a heart as sweet as her name suggests. Her days are spent quietly observing the world around her, taking everything in with a calm, patient demeanor. She has a knack for making friends, her shy yet warm personality charming both humans and fellow canines alike. Snack Pack enjoys the simple things in life, like a leisurely stroll or a quiet afternoon nap. Her favorite pastime, though, is spending time with her human friends, her tail wagging softly in contentment. Snack Pack is not just a pet, she`s a companion, a friend, a source of comfort and calm in a busy world. She`s looking for a forever home where she can share her love and gentle spirit. Adopt Snack Pack and let her sweet, mellow nature fill your life with joy and serenity.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
