My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there. I’m Callie. My sister, Birdie (also looking for a home), and I lived with our mom since we were just babies, but our mom became too ill to care for us. That’s when things took a turn for the worse and our living situation quickly spiraled out of control when she could no longer properly care for us. Mom was hospitalized as a result of her illness, and we were living in small crates for weeks in unsustainable conditions. A nice neighbor was doing her best to feed and care for us but we needed help BADLY.

As difficult of a decision as it was for mom, she surrendered us to Molly’s Place so we could get the care we needed and attention we craved. She wanted us to find happiness and have what was best for us moving forward.

Having lived with mom, we were well loved. We are “Pretty” well behaved, loving, gentle with children and are great with other dogs. …. Well, we ‘re great with other dogs except for each other. Truth be told we both think each other are jerks and really don’t get along. Due to our sibling rivalry, littermate syndrome, we feel it’s best to part and go our separate way. Sayanora Sister!!!

Although crate trained, we have graduated to a free roaming space unsupervised. WE can both leash walk but are used to going out into a fenced in yard for potty and play. We are great at coming when called. With mom, we mostly stayed at home, so we may need a little help learning basic commands, getting used to care rides and other doggie activities.

Please consider adopting one of us and making us happy the rest of our days, what our mom realized we both deserve and prays for us to have.
