My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jilly!

This is the sweetest, snuggliest girl who will win the heart of anyone she meets. She spends most of her time on the couch and is generally low energy. She does play with the other dogs, but is quick to join her humans for some love.

Jilly is possibly a Standard Poodle, but could easily be a Doodle with a high poodle content. She was found as a stray, so we aren't sure! She is estimated at 1.5 years old and only 42lbs.

She's crate trained and house trained and can be trusted to be loose when you aren't home. She's great with any size dog and older children, but does not need another dog in the home.

She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $400.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
