Hi! I’m Chance, and I recently went on an amazing adventure with AHS volunteers. We spent time hiking, walking in the park, and even swimming! I love being outside, especially if there’s water to splash around in. Whether we were running through the trails or cooling off in a stream, I had a blast.
I’m pretty good about pottying outside, so no accidents during the trip—I always make sure to go when we stop for a break. Along the way, I met some new people, and I was as soft and wiggly as can be. I love getting attention and belly rubs, and I made sure to keep my leash manners on point, even when there were other dogs around.
Speaking of other dogs, I did meet a few while on our adventure. I didn’t really want to play with them much, though—I mostly just ignored them. But I was super friendly to everyone I met and kept my cool on the leash, even when we passed other dogs or people.
I’m a medium to high-energy kind of dog, so I’ll happily keep up with your outdoor plans, whether it’s a long hike or a run. I do well on the leash, too—I don’t pull much, and I always check back with my humans if I’m curious about something or someone.
If you’re looking for a well-behaved, water-loving adventure buddy who’s ready to explore, I’m your guy! Just don’t expect me to get too excited about playing with other dogs—I’d rather enjoy the sights and sounds with you!
