FOSTER CARE
Hello, I'm Saucy! I'm a 1-year-old, spayed pitbull that currently weighs about 43lbs. When I first came into the shelter, I was overwhelmed by the new noises, smells, and people, but my foster parents helped me realize the world is an exciting place full of nice people who give me treats! Now I'm living up to my name and having lots of puppy fun in my fosters' home! I like to climb onto things, chew on squeaker toys, and play with other dogs. Sometimes when I'm extra excited on my walks, I like to do a cute, tiny hop into the air! I would do great in a home with a playful dog sibling who can help me continue to build confidence. Please make sure we have a chance to be properly introduced before I join your family though. I still need time to warm up to new people, but once I feel comfortable with you, I'm super affectionate and enjoy cuddling. I'm doing well with my house training, but I'll need work on my other puppy manners. I can't wait to find my forever family so I can give them lots of tail wags and pittie wiggles! For more information, just ask about Saucy! ID# A952227
Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.
Application: https://phs-spca.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/AdoptionProfiles_dog2023_fillin.pdf
*The application may not work on mobile devices and iPads. Please call (650) 340-7022 for assistance.
Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.
You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays).
We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
