At last, the Cookie Family is available for adoption! Yes, the time has come for the kittens to leave the nest and go to their furever homes. If you watch our explore.org camera, you know that we have the most beautiful mom and babies gracing our space right now. Biscotti is a handsome Siamese/Snowshoe mix with blue eyes. As are most kittens, he is a delightful bundle of playful energy and cuteness, always ready for a little romping with his friends. When he has exhausted his curiosity, it's time for cuddles and naps. Kittens this age thrive on companionship so he must be adopted with another Cookie kitten - Macaroon KRLA-A-8145, Pizzelle KRLA-A-8144, Florentine KRLA-A-8143, Shortbread KRLA-A-8142, or Snickerdoodle KRLA-A-8140.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
