My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magpie is a friendly, affectionate, playful gal looking for her forever home! She is blind and FIV+, but she doesn't let either of those things stop her!

Magpie navigates her life without issues, but she will need an understanding adopter prepared to help Magpie adjust in a new environment and who will provide the minor accommodations she requires.

This girl loves being carried around and will nap with her human for hours. Her favorite toys are crinkle balls and the ball-in-a-track scratcher. Magpie is looking for a home with another cat for her to play with, as she loves the companionship!

Her adoption fee is $75 and includes her spay, vaccines, FIV/FELV combo testing, and microchip.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.

We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
