My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laddie is a young pure bred Sheltie maybe 7mths old. Laddie's owner passed away and he nor Laddie were found for 3 weeks! Laddie is now healthy and ready for a loving home. Laddie is a bit shy and anxious but once he settles, he is high energy and LOVEs to play with dogs and toys! Laddie does not pull on leash but needs some leash manners so he doesn't cross in front of you. We ask that anyone who wants to adopt Laddie have a fenced yard with other smaller young dogs to play with. More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
