Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Arlo, a 3-year-old neutered male American Pitbull Terrier/Staffordshire Terrier mix with a stunning red and white coat and an endless smile! Arlo is full of energy and would thrive in a house with a fenced-in backyard where he can play to his heart’s content. He loves playing with stuffed animals outside and enjoys a game of fetch, even if he doesn’t always bring the ball back! Arlo is very social and adores people, always ready to share his enthusiasm with big, affectionate hugs. He pulls a little on the leash but enjoys his walks and exploring the neighborhood. While he seems to do well with other dogs, a meet and greet is necessary to ensure compatibility. If you’re looking for a joyful, playful, and affectionate companion, Arlo is ready to fill your home with love and laughter!

More about this shelter
The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
