Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Almost three years ago, I got Freddie from the New Hanover Humane Society when he was only a few weeks old. He will be three years old in January. He has really been my best friend ever since. Freddie is incredibly well trained and is an overall amazing dog. He loves to play, he loves to run, and he loves to follow me around everywhere. However, due to some recent life changes, I am planning for an unexpected big move soon, and I, unfortunately, cannot bring Freddie with me.
I would prefer for his new home to have a big yard, as he loves to run around, and he is super energetic. As well, he does have some anxiety, so someone who is home relatively often would be preferred. I'm usually gone during the day though, and he does fine with a long morning and night walk. I'm really just looking for someone to love him and take good care of him-- he's a great dog, and he deserves all the love.
(I'm less concerned about the adoption fee and more concerned about finding him a home in time)
