Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bernie is AVAILABLE! Bernie is a 1.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard dog, who is friendly, smart, and loves to play. Bernie already knows some commands and will sit until he’s released! We have no doubt this boy is smart and will likely easily pick up on further training. He did great with his kennel mate, so he may enjoy a family with other dogs too. We encourage meet-and-greets with the whole family before adopting. The adoption fee is $50 and Bernie will leave the shelter neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
