My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Boone! I’m a sweet, loving, and social guy who adores everyone I meet—people, dogs, and even cats! Whether it’s playing with my furry friends, cuddling up with my favorite humans, or enjoying a leisurely walk, I’m always excited to join in the fun. I’ve got a happy-go-lucky personality that’s sure to put a smile on your face.

I’m house trained and working on my crate training. At 50 pounds, I'm underweight and working on gaining more. My foster mom says I'm the "goodest" boy! I'm 4 years old and the most adorable hound mix.

If you’re looking for a social, affectionate companion, who’s always ready to be by your side, I just might be your boy!

If you are interested in adopting Boone, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
