My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny, our very cute dilute Tortoiseshell girl. Penny came to us on October 14, 2024. A family found Penny alone in a ditch. They waited a few hours for the mom to come back, but when she didn't, they took her in. She was close to three weeks old, so we will call her birthday September 23, 2024.

When Penny isn’t sleeping, she runs, climbs, and plays with the other foster kittens. She is happy, healthy, and full of joy. We prefer that she be adopted with one of her orphan playmates, but will make an exception if she is going to a home with another cat or with a cat-friendly dog. We have learned and the research shows that kittens adapt better and socialize more quickly in their new home if they have a companion fur friend.

Penny is FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated, and litter trained. Our nominal adoption fee covers her medical exams, deworming, vaccines, blood tests, and spay/neuter.

To set up a visit with Penny, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting her, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow her journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters Chat Group. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3).
