All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

Lyric is a 5 month old Maltese x Yorkie mix looking for a choir to join! This little lady was rescued from the shelter who reached out with an urgent plea due to overcrowding. We quickly jumped into action and a few hours later, Lyric was getting a much-needed bath followed by all the cuddles she could ever ask for! Lyric weighs 9 pounds and we expect she will remain under 12 pounds when she is fully grown. For those who love little purse pups, Lyric is ready to answer your wishes on stars! Lyric has a non-shedding coat and is an option for those with allergies. She will require regular grooming to ensure her coat stays shiny and beautiful! If you’re ready for the song in your heart to find its duet partner, come on down and meet Lyric!
Lyric is a super friendly, loving little pup who hasn’t met a stranger she can’t instantly win over! She loves her people and wants nothing more than a life by your side as you shower her in cuddles and kisses. Lyric loves her toys and shows off her playful nature every day as she races around the house with her chosen toy of the day. She also loves snuggle time and gazes at you with her adorable puppy dog eyes until you scoop her up and let her nestle into your lap. Lyric is also super smart and eager to please, so we know she will amaze your neighbors with her trick routines from day one. Prepare to have a star pupil at training classes! She loves belly rubs and knows how to roll over right when she senses you can take a break from work to hang out with her. It’s her superpower! She’d be a fabulous shopping companion or friend to join you on a trip to your local dog-friendly brewery. Just give her a treat or let her meet some people for cuddles and she’s happy to hang out for hours! Lyric is just an all around perfect little puppy who’s adorable soft fur and heart-melting eyes makes it impossible to resist falling in love with her.
Lyric starts her day at 8 AM with at least ten minutes of petting and puppy kisses. This is essential for her (she asked her foster mom to include this part). Once she’s awake, she’s outside going potty and sniffing around to make sure nothing’s changed since she did her patrol the night before. She has her breakfast at 9 AM, lunch at 1 PM, and dinner at 6:30 PM. During the day, Lyric alternates between romping around with her toys, soaking up the sunshine in her yard, playing with the resident dog, and trying to get all the cuddles she can. She’s always happy to sit on a lap during a Zoom meeting as well! In the evenings, Lyric gets tons of snuggles on the couch as she unwinds from the day. After one last potty session, she heads to her crate for the night.
Lyric gets along well with the resident dog in her foster home and they play together very well. She is potty pad trained and crate trained. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss their plans for continued training as well as grooming. Lyric absolutely adores people and makes new best friends wherever she goes!
