Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Freedom 5 years ago as a kitten, after a local rescue saved him from being euthanized at a shelter. It didn't take too long for him to become the alpha of the cats. We had 2 other cats in the home at the time and he quickly became territorial. Over the last few years hes become aggressive with one of them and most recently it was hard to break them up. He is good with older children— our oldest was 9 when we adopted him and she pets and plays with him all the time but we havent let our toddlers around him to know how well he is with young kids. As with all animals though, young children should always be monitored when around them. He loves to snuggle up on a warm blanket and loves crinkly toys. Hes very playful and loving to humans and dogs. He doesnt prefer to be held though. Most of the time he is lazy and sleeps. He has moments where he wants to be left alone but he will let you know when he wants to be pet/scratches on his chin or ears, or wants to play. He’s a sweet boy
