This is Chicken, a seven year old rescue I adopted as a kitten in 2017. She needs a new, forever home. She does ok with dogs (tolerates, but isn’t fond of our poodle mix) and hasn’t lived with other cats since she was a kitten. She has never been around young kids, so I can’t speak to how she would behave with them. She is spayed and has no front claws. She is super cuddly, talkative, and playful, but very distrusting and reserved around new people. She’s known to hiss at strangers in her territory like any good guard cat would, but once you’ve earned her trust she will snuggle right in your lap for hours on end.
She might need more time and patience to acclimate than your average cat. She also currently needs medication every other day that you can mix directly into her food to manage allergies.
If you adopt Chicken, you’ll also have the option to take her litter box, 4+ month supply of litter, a new litter genie, 1 month supply of food, and 1 month supply of her medication.
